Pray Big

I believe in the power of prayer and I believe in praying big.

I mean Big.

I believe in praying for God’s provision.  I can’t even begin to tell you all the times God has miraculously provided for us as well as all the “small” stuff.

This road of being a horseman’s wife has not been easy.  But it has turned me into a prayer warrior that I’m certain I wouldn’t be if my life had not had so many twists, sharp turns and bumps in the road.

There have been many, many moments of me feeling like I’m being squeezed so tight I could hardly breathe.  Sometimes it was yet another whopping decision to make, usually based around a move of some sort. Many times it was centered on money or lack thereof.

As my story, My Horseman and Me, continues to unfold, you’ll read of God’s provision for us. Many times out of nowhere. But, you what? Sometimes that’s just how God works so that there is no doubt as to where that blessing came from.

He has provided jobs that we didn’t know existed. Checks arrived in the mail just as we were down to our last dollar. Healing just as we were preparing to head to the ER. Inexplicable peace in times where everything seemed to be swirling out of our control.

So, don’t be afraid to pray big. Pray for God’s provision in your life. Pray for wisdom. Pray over your business. Pray over your family.  There is Nothing too big for God. So just go for it!

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:20

      Thanks Mary! I wrote this post as a reminder to myself to pray big. So many times I find myself putting God in a box (so silly!). Thanks for your comment! 🙂
